Hometown Heroes and Kapco Metal Stamping are proud to sponsor:
Camp Hometown Heroes is a free annual week-long overnight summer camp for children and younger siblings of fallen U.S. service members who died in any manner – combat, accidents, suicide, illness or friendly fire.
Camp Hometown Heroes is specifically designed to provide the children of fallen U.S. service members ages 7-17 with opportunities for friendship, fun, acceptance, and personal growth. Through the support of pediatric grief specialists from Kyle’s Korner, the children and teenagers are provided the chance to grieve and heal. At long last, children of the fallen are given the chance to grow and heal together.
The debut session in June 2013 included over 60 campers from 14 states. The next session will take place in Wisconsin in June 2014. If you are a new family and would like to sign your children up please contact Co-Founder Neil Willenson.
A number of local and national organizations serve as partners for Camp Hometown Heroes including the Wisconsin military family organization, Being There Reaching Out, Got Your Back Network, A Soldier's Child Foundation, Hope for the Warriors, and many others.
Hometown Heroes is proud to sponsor Camp Yellow Ribbon
This important summer camp is designed for children of currently, past and soon-to-be deployed soldiers.
